what to expect
when you book a stay
veterinary care available
If your dog’s vaccination records are expired or expiring soon, let us know. We can have a veterinarian waiting for you at the gate to get vaccines done at drop-off! Or, you can schedule vaccines and other routine procedures to be done by a veterinarian during your dog’s stay. The vet will be assisted by a Trainer and Behaviorist in the case of difficult dogs.
drop-off & items from home
Drop-off is quick and easy. We’ll confirm your dog’s care instructions and behavior history at the gate, and you’ll take them to their private suite. All collars and wearables will be removed while in the suite to eliminate any risk of injury. We do not allow items from home for safety and sanitary reasons, but your dog will have a clean bed waiting for them.
If your dog has not used a dog door before, the trainer or yourself may show them how it works. Our dog doors are the largest and the lightest on the market, allowing giant and fearful dogs to use them easily. If your dog still struggles to use the dog door, it will be kept open for them to allow free movement through the door.
during your stay
You’ll receive a daily report card during your dog’s stay, often with a photo from their day. If you book a stay with training sessions incorporated, you’ll discuss training goals at drop-off and will receive more detailed updates from these sessions.
Please remember that we do not have a receptionist on site to immediately answer all incoming phone calls. However, your call will be forwarded to the trainer on site’s cell phone if your dog is currently in our care.
additional safety measures
Not only does our Behaviorist, Trainer, and Vet Tech live on site full time in a home located 50 feet from the facility, but dogs are monitored 24/7 on camera as well. Cameras are monitored by off-site staff trained to alert on-site staff and emergency personnel if anything looks concerning. Cameras are for safety purposes only and are not available for others to access online.
Dogs with unsafe behavior will receive contact-free care, being kept on their patio while their suite is being cleaned, and vice versa. Dogs that are allowed to interact with people will be greeted during daily care, and they can be scheduled for walks, playtime, and more.
